The Timber Windows (UK) Ltd Service Pledge

You need to know that not only will your windows be of a high quality, but that installation and service will be faultless too. Before you even place your order for wooden windows with us, during the installation and after we have left your home, there is a service pledge that we follow, for your peace of mind.

1. Enquiry for timber windows

A member of the team will contact you within 48 hours of your initial enquiry. We will answer any questions you may have and arrange a convenient time to visit you in person.

2. Window proposal and factory Visit

Keeping to an efficient timetable is crucial, which is why we send you our proposal within 7 days of seeing your house. During this time we can also arrange a factory visit - where you can see for yourself the commitment to quality which results in a true, high performance window.

3. Consultation and window specification

We will, where possible, visit you in person within 10 days of our response. This gives us an opportunity to see your home and understand your exact requirements. It also provides another chance for us to answer your questions and offer advice and guidance (should you require it).

4. Survey and manufacture of your windows

Upon acceptance of our proposal, we will conduct a full survey of your home. During this time we will also confirm the installation start date - within the following 12 week period. Full drawings and specification are also confirmed for approval, along with any special instructions you may have. In order to keep you up-to-date, we will call you with regular progress reports.

5. Your timber window installation - the start

On the first day of installation, the team leader meets with you to confirm the sequence of window replacements.

*Customer care is just as important as our windows, which is why we treat your home and family with the utmost respect at all times.

6. Your timber window installation - during

Throughout the installation process, our team leader will liaise with you on a regular basis - to ensure an efficient and conscientious installation. The entire team will also comply with the Timber Windows Installation Code of Conduct at all times.

7. Inspecting your window installation

Upon completion of the installation process, the team leader will confirm that all windows satisfy the relevant British Standards and Building Regulations. Each window will also be personally checked to demonstrate its operation and effect the Timber Windows (UK) Ltd warranty.

8. Final handover

Following successful inspection, you will receive a handover pack, which contains the following:

  • All warranty documentation
  • Maintenance Instructions
  • A FENSA certificate confirming building regulation compliance
  • Insurance backed guarantee information.

9. Aftercare service

Weeks after completion a member of the team will give you a courtesy call to make sure everything is in order. This provides an opportunity for us to answer any outstanding questions you may have.
